“The Making of Gabriel” is a 90-minute movie that takes you through the process of photo alteration. The final product is Gabriel, a monochrome photo that captivates everyone that looks at it.
This tutorial will show you how the picture came to be and it involves everything from the moment the photo is taken to the end product. This includes half a dozen of techniques apart from the application of the mono effect.
The first part of the modification, as you will see, involves black and white (mono) effect that turns all colors into black, white, gray and different shades of those three. Other effects come next, and they serve to clarify the photo and alter parts that didn’t do well during the removal of other colors. Watch the video to find out what technique did what and how the final product ended up looking like a masterpiece.
