When providing the digital photography tutorials i always aim to show techniques using what most people have to hand within Photoshop.So for example if I show how to mask hair it will be using the tools within Photoshop (Channels,Pen Tool etc) rather than using plugins or 3rd party software.

Photography being my profession however means that if there is a more time effecient way of doing things (that works) then I have to look into it and Fluid Mask by Vertus was such a product.

I had seen Fluid Mask advertised promising to be a perfect solution for complex masking (never heard that one before!),proof is in the pudding as I always say so I downloaded the demo and was impressed enough during the demo to purchase it.

Now nothing on the market will simply mask an image in one click of the mouse (I wish) but Fluid Mask comes pretty close on some images.That's not to say either that there isn't a learning curve with this product there is especially on very complex images but without a doubt this is by far the best masking software currently available.
